I pursued my undergraduate studies at Lamar University, where I majored in English Literature and Communications. During my time there, I developed an invaluable skill set that includes writing, editing, research, effective communication, and time management. One of the highlights of my undergraduate experience was having a short story published in Pulse, Lamar University’s literary magazine, which allowed me to engage with the creative community and share my work with a broader audience.

Recently, I completed the Master of Arts in Technical Communication (MATC) program at Texas State University. This program was an ideal fit for my skills, as it encompassed a wide range of topics, including technical writing, document design, user experience design, and user research. During my master’s program, I had the opportunity to intern with Cuentos and Testimonies, an academic publication where I honed my technical editing and content strategy skills further.

Additionally, I became an active member of Sigma Tau Delta, the International English Honors Society, and the Society for Technical Communication. One of the standout skills I practiced during my graduate studies is collaboration. I believe that effective collaboration is essential in producing documents that are not only clear and concise but also accessible to diverse audiences. As I embark on my job search, I am eager to contribute my newly acquired skills and be part of a dynamic team that shares my commitment to creating impactful communication.
